The kick panel has one plastic nut that needs to be removed. The scuff plate removes by pulling up around the perimeter, it is only held on with clips. Next you want to remove the drivers side scuff plate as well as the left lower kick panel. I believe that the SR is the only trim level that doesn't have it. My understanding is that this kit will work for anyone that is in the same situation.
